Background

I've spent over a decade working at the intersection of enterprise systems, workflow automation, and content management. My career has been defined by taking legacy systems and either breathing new life into them through integration and iteration, or strategically migrating them to modern solutions that smaller teams can actually maintain.

I started as someone who couldn't leave a manual process alone. If there was a spreadsheet being emailed around, I saw an opportunity for automation. If there was a paper form being routed through inter-office mail, I saw a workflow waiting to be digitized. Today, I leverage process improvement to ensure every use case is still valid before touching code—increasing both productivity and UX.

Philosophy

Technology for technology's sake doesn't interest me. What drives me is finding the right solution for the problem at hand—even if that solution is simpler than everyone expected.

I've seen too many organizations adopt the latest platform only to recreate the same problems in a shinier interface. Real transformation happens when you understand the underlying processes and address root causes, not symptoms.

I believe in pragmatic choices over perfect ones. The best system is one that your team can maintain, extend, and actually use—not the one with the most impressive feature list.
